Directions of Use (Professional Only)

Always sanitise before and after use. Perform a patch test prior to treatment where necessary. Wear gloves and follow hygiene protocols.

1. Prep: Cleanse and dry the eye area. Remove makeup, oil, and debris from lashes and lids.
2. Select size: Choose the shield size based on the client’s eye shape and desired lift (1 = tightest curl, 5 = softest lift).
3. Position the shield:
   
• Gently place the shield onto the eyelid without glue.
• Hold in place while lifting lashes upward onto the shield using your preferred tool.
• Secure lashes using a water-soluble lash adhesive (glue is only used to stick the lashes to the shield – not the shield to the eyelid).
4. Proceed with lift: Continue the lash lift process as normal (e.g., Step 1 Lifting Lotion).
5. Aftercare:
   
• Remove shield carefully after processing.
• Wash shields with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and disinfect before next use.

Pro Tips

• Use slightly dampened cotton bud to assist shield placement if needed.
• Pair with lash adhesive that sets quickly for faster lash placement.
• Keep a labelled set for each client when possible to extend shield life hygienically.
• Avoid sharp tools during cleaning to preserve the silicone.

Storage & Hygiene

Store shields in a clean, dry case away from direct sunlight and dust. Disinfect thoroughly after each use. Replace shields at the first sign of wear or damage.
